imminent attack of the killer fungus

According to the underside of my Snapple cap, there is an underground mushroom in Oregon that measures 3.5 miles across. That is "Real Fact" #340, and it is currently eating away my brain from the inside out.

Seriously? What the crap.

I just looked up more information about it.

The 3.5 mile mushroom is a honey mushroom that is 2,400 years old. Dang.

Yea, and apparently Oregon is a fungi rainforest, mostly. The fungus also extends 3 feet underground.
